Ian Watkins retired from the post of CEO of the Governing Body in Golf in Gloucestershire on 31st March 2014 having served for 15 years & has been elected onto the Board of England Golf (the Governing Body of the game in England) as a non-executive Director.April 2021 - President of The South Western Counties Golf Association.
