My father was an Engineer; the first to use hydraulics for cutting so that's where my interest in engineering comes from. Growing up I was curious about how things worked. I enjoyed taking things apart and rebuilding them. Practical and imaginative; the kid who loved turning my ideas into something - designing and building was my thing.The attraction to turning this into a profession followed and I became a Chartered Engineer. I focussed on designing cutting equipment for industries including Mining, Tunnelling and Construction. An early design was the first Rockwheel rotary cutting attachment now used across the word. Engineering Design is all about challenge and innovation. 2020 has got off to a flying start with my latest design for a high impact low frequency environmentally friendly breaker.
