Second semester at Thermo Fisher Scientific. This semester was about the immersion in the steriles filling side of the company. I moved to a different building on site and learned different manufacturing and filling methods behind injectable products. I worked on out of calibration reports, engineering studies, opportunity calculations, CIP and SIP maintenance, and much more.

First semester at Thermo Fisher Scientific. This semester was about introducing me to working at a large scale company as well as the pharmaceutical manufacturing world. I developed skills on how to network in a large organization with rotating shift changes as well as the processes behind manufacturing tablets and capsules. I worked on kaizens, risk assessments, downtime reducing changeover boards, cart designs, process improvements, time studies, and much more.

Third semester at Kinetic Vision. This semester was about honing skills, working on advanced ALE simulations and scripting as well as increased independence, receiving emails from clients on work to be done rather than receiving the transcribed task through a manager. This semester also emphasized critical thinking, pushing me to understand what information the client wanted, before they wanted it.

Second semester at Kinetic Vision. This semester was about building on the skills I learned in the first semester as well as gaining increased trust and responsibility in the workplace. I created multiple tutorials for incoming co-ops covering CATIA and Hypermesh.

First semester at Kinetic Vision. This semester was about learning the ropes to the FEA world, developing skills in Abaqus, LS-DYNA, and Python. My manager had me creating simulations, meshes, and presentations for clients, as well as sitting in on client discussions.
