Ian Banerjee is the Founder & director of Global Anchor Cruises, a company which represents upper Premium & Luxury cruise brands in India. Prior to this venture, he has close to a decade of sailing experience aboard Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, the same cruise liners which his company Global Anchor Cruises now represents. His time sailing with these adventurous destination oriented ships visiting most countries with cruise ports and more than half a dozen world cruises that cir-cum-navigate the entire globe has given him an experience like none other. This unique experience has transformed this hospitality veteran from a tourist to a traveler who excites this perspective of exploration to his clients and partners alike. Today, as the Director of Global Anchor Cruises, he is responsible for marketing, sales, e-commerce and public relations but with emphasis laid on personalization and excellence, the key traits he learned leading the Butlers team aboard these luxurious cruise ships and being part of the "Guild of English Butlers" (U.K). Ian earned his bachelor’s in Tourism Studies (BTS) degree from the IGNOU university Delhi and his Diploma from the Institute of Hotel Management - IHM Ahmedabad. Born and raised in Mumbai, he is married with two children and resides in Mumbai. A veteran Traveler and a deep passion for the ocean Ian today extends this passion in his profession.
