I acted as Interim General Manager of the CDI from 1 April to 31 August 2013. Oversaw the first election process with the Electoral Reform Society, started a major review of qualifications and CPD and the development of a new standards mark, Career Assured, shortly to be formally launched. Sang as a professional singer in this world-class choir. Was part of services in the Cathedral, concerts, recordings and tours to the USA, Canada, Poland and Belgium. Alongside the early part of my Civil Service career.
