Positive Horizons offers a range of personal development and life coaching programmes which can be delivered face-to-face, over the telephone or via Skype. Ian has a particular interest in coaching young people from the age of 11 years up.

Responsible for the day-to-day management of a very large primary school in North London with approx. 700 pupils and over 50 staff. Special responsibility for Staff Development, Curriculum Development, Teaching & Learning, Assessment, Student Training, and Creative Development.

As a class teacher taught across both key stages (4-11 years). Was responsible for the development of teaching and learning in English across the whole school. Acted up as Deputy Headteacher for one term.

As a class teacher, taught all subjects across the Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 phases (4-7 years old). After first year of teacher was promoted onto the Senior Management Team as the Language & Library Copordinator.

After leaving school, I joined Shell Tankers (UK) Ltd. and worked my way up through the ranks via the purchasing, operations and engineering departments. I then moved to the Shell International Petroleum Company and worked in the salaries department, and finally on project development in the finance department.
