• Seek out, investigate and analyze new technology opportunities to see if and how they can be beneficial or meet the needs of the agency.• Project Manage, analyze, develop, implement, and maintain numerous new technology ventures from applications, networking and desktop solutions, to from virtual machine (VMs) and system management software.• Analyze requirements, develop solutions with varied key performance indicators (KPIs). • Oversee and administer the Financial and Human Resources system software for the agency, with a budget of 36 million and over 600 employees. This includes, but is not limited to, complete system upgrades, data access changes, developing, implementing and supporting the short and long-term requirements of the two departments. • Attend national conferences (i.e. Microsoft Ignite, Tyler Connect, Fuel Good) as the Region Ten representative.• Provide guidance and mentorship to new projects. • Overseeing and Managing the HR and Finance system implementation project of transitioning to ERP software Microsoft Dynamics NAV/CRM and to Tyler Tech Munis.• Implement new hardware and software components (i.e. Servers, Virtual Machines (VM), desktop, application software, etc.), as required, to ensure departmental, project-based and overall agency objectives are successfully met. • Define project requirements by identifying appropriate milestones, phases, and elements; forming a focused project team; maintain compliance with project budgets as well as enforced standard change management policies when necessary.• Develop and publish IT Policies and Procedures such as the Security Policy and Tech Plan for Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). • Interpret funding source and licensure requirements, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), etc. while developing and maintaining compliance plans.• Maintain system protocols by developing and updating procedures, as required, for all levels within agency.

• Plan for, manage, research, negotiate pricing for IT purchases, from PCs/related equipment to high-end servers.• Met monthly with a group of Directors to assess their departmental issues and resolve wherever possible with IT solutions. • Held a lead role in regards to planning, deployment, maintenance of the entire network structure, from production servers to end user devices. This includes the monitoring, planning, and redistribution of assets as required to ensure more efficient use with the agency.• Provide first-class technical support for all levels within the agency.• Assisted with the selection, setup, and maintenance of the end user helpdesk database, including involvement with day to day helpdesk tasks.

• Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users, recommend and implement corrective solutions, including off-site repair for remote users as needed. Responsibilities included but were not limited to: • Setup and Support of BlackBerry, iPhone, and other PDA devices Investigate and test new PDAs (i.e. iPhone, AT&T Tilt, etc.) to determine any associated security risks.• Involved with planning, purchasing and roll out of system wide upgrades throughout the organization as well as planning for future IT needs within departments. • Responsible for creation and management of SMS patches and packages.• Install, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software in order to deliver required desktop service levels and up-time. • Image and setup of PCs for new employees and deployed units/small networks as were required for various meetings. • Administer and resolve issues with associated end-user workstation software products. • Create and provide Training/How-To Guides for multiple programs and processes. Examples of projects that I was involved with are shown below:• Instituted Video/Audio Recording and Archiving Process Coordinated with employees throughout the organization. Established guidelines and processes for policy and procedures for on/off site utilization.• Developed and distributed Traveler’s How-to Guide, with the purpose of giving employees with any background the ability to handle common IT related issues that arise most often while traveling both domestically and internationally.• Responsible for the creation and distribution of multiple How-to Guides, including information for programs such as Microsoft Outlook and processes such as organization wide scanning.

• Provided 1st level technical support, from a call center, for end users in a networked computing environment. Included but not limited to in the software support framework.
