Phoenix Electrical Contractors Ltd have been established for 30 years. Based in the Midlands, we work throughout the UK. We have a highly skilled team that can deliver design, installation and periodic maintence for 3 phase and single phase electrical systems. We are NICEIC registered and can provide testing and certification for all of our work.

Siemens Enterprise now deliver all remote services via a Global Service Infrastructure. We achieved this by creating greenfield operations in Kolkata, India, as well as rationalizing operations in core Countries including Germany, USA, UK, Brazil and Austria. My role is to lead all operations, which is a mix of our own staff (circa 1000 globally) and outsource service providers (a further 400 staff)

STC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens Plc, and is the market leader for the design and manufacture of Traffic Control Systems for the UK and world markets.Reporting to the Managing Director, as a member of the Senior Management Team, it is a strategic role. With responsibility for sales, installation and post delivery service of a wide portfolio of traffic control systems; it was a general management post with a heavy customer service bias.

As a member of the Senior Management Team I had primary responsibility for the Service operation.

Together with a sales colleague I founded Office Options. Whilst my main focus was service I became involved in all aspects of the business, including sales and marketing. This was a start up business, which required me to develop new systems, processes and IT tools in order for the business to function. The experience gained during this venture has proved invaluable. My commercial awareness increased immeasurably. From the creation of the business plan, raising capital, establishing credit from OEM’s, to understanding the significance of cash flow.
