Graduated from University of La Verne in 2004 with a Degree in Business Admin. & Marketing. During High School, I began working on a passion of mine - extreme pogo stick development. By the time I hit college, we had created a pogo stick that could bounce 5 feet high. After recruiting an aerospace engineer, we opened up shop and founded the world's first extreme pogo stick company, Vurtego (www.vurtegopogo.com). Vurtego now holds the record for the highest bouncing pogo stick with the world record height over a bar at 9'7" feet plus. After leaving Vurtego, I began work in the non-profit sector to help low-income people receive legal assistance that they could not normally attain on their own. In two years, we raised $12 million and helped many thousands of people in Orange County. A brief stint at Nickent Golf helped me home my skills, but trouble with investors caused the company to go belly up. I worked with an advertising agency in Laguna Beach to pick up new skills and pursue my passions once again, and I eventually left there to work for Gensler, the #1 Interior Design and Architecture company in the Solar System.Cool Things About MeI once tackled a bully goat (mean billy goat in case you were wondering) and have eaten 4 Double Doubles in one sitting as the result of a double dog dare (what can I say, I like challenges). What I Do NowI now do Biz Development for the #1 Architecture & Interior Design firm in the world. We're working on the new football stadium in LA, Korea's beautiful Incheon Airport and the 2nd tallest building in the world, to name a few projects. I've somehow earned the name Mr. Awesome (by somehow, I mean I might have given it to myself...but it stuck, so hey!). I make cool things cooler and fun things awesomer. I think my true job function at Gensler is actually a Smile Developer, as I spend most of my time in between job duties doing silly things to entertain everyone.
