I am an award-winning journalist, author, and TV producer/consultant. I am represented by Larry Weissman Literary (books) and CAA (film rights, podcasts, literary fiction, and non-scripted TV).I am the co-creator and executive producer of truTV's BIG TRICK ENERGY, and was a consulting producer on Netflix's EXHIBIT A. My next TV project is currently in development at NBCUniversal. My first book, MAGIC IS DEAD: My Journey Into the World's Most Secretive Society of Magicians, is now available from Dey Street Books, and was named an Amazon Top 10 Best Books of the Month for Memoir and a Best Book of the Year (So Far). I was featured on The TODAY Show for it. My second book, INSIDE THE CARTEL, will be published in 2025. I have written for a variety of publications, including: The New Yorker, The New York Times, New York Magazine, The Washington Post Magazine, Esquire, Playboy, WIRED, Bloomberg Businessweek, Vice, Town & Country, and The Verge, among many others. My writing has been optioned for film and television by: NBCUniversal, Broadway Video, AGBO, Midnight Radio, Black Label Media, and Lionsgate.I also do part-time editorial strategy and copywriting for brands, including Microsoft, Indeed, IBM, and Lilium.
