Since inception in 2010 Pumpteq has become a leader in Australia for service pertaining to High Energy Centrifugal Pumps, we have secured some high profile long term contracts with "Blue Chip" Companies. Frequently traveling nationally & internationally visiting client’s sites to offer technical assistance with pump and system issues, investigate issues with pump performance and operational practices, design of pump retrofits and present training to maintenance and operational personnel.Having successfully upgraded many types of centrifugal pumps to extend mean time between overhauls and increase efficiency, I have been commended by government officials and clients alike for my contribution to improving efficiency on Power Stations and moving them closer to the generator efficiency standards (GEC).As Founder and Managing Director of Pumpteq Services Pty Ltd. I hold responsibility for all aspects of the business, whilst never removing myself from my core skill set, and today I still remain dedicated to a ‘hands on’ approach being involved in all aspects from Engineering solutions and design upgrades through to client liaison. A leading expert in pump overhauls, repairs and upgrades I am fully conversant with all technical aspects pertaining to pump repairs/upgrades and retrofits. There are many successfully projects and Hydraulic re-designs of otherwise "failing pumps". Projects and technical papers can be found in the project area of our new website - please be patient it is coming.Previous to forming Pumpteq I was employed by Sulzer Pumps for 22 years where I held many posts as I have progressed through the company to become one of Sulzers’ leading pump repair specialists and senior Manager. Css Service ManagerSulzer 2004 - 2010Development of the Sulzer Service Centre Australia and assembly of a full team of personnel to support me in my role developing the Sulzer after sales business. I designed the Service Centre to support market needs and managed it from construction through to operation.
