Management* Implementation of procedures specific to workshop repairs of pumps – including dismantling and inspection, repairs i.e. manufacturing, machining, weld repairs, coatings etc, job hazard analysis and safe working practices.* Management of sub-contractors and delegating workloads to recording and reporting on progress of works.Service & Repairs * Strip down and inspect, rebuild of a large range of pumps from low NPSHR booster pumps to large high pressure multi-stage centrifugal pumps, draw up route sheets for pump repairs, ordering of spares and problem solving.* Implementing workshop procedures for complete overhaul repair works for in house repairs.* Implementing QC documentation and inspection plans for workshop activities.* Installation, repair and preventative maintenance of pump and control systems within various industries.* Maintaining records of examination in accordance with industry standard legislation.* Identify the nature of specific problems reporting and conduct on-site repairs.Erection & Commissioning * Responsible for installation & commissioning of overhauled rotating equipment.* Oversee all pre checks in preparation for the commissioning of overhauled rotating equipment.* Ensure all process related works for the facilities are in accordance with project specifications and making sure they are maintained in order to safeguard technical integrity.* Applying engineering technical expertise related to design, specification and operation of facilities.* Maintaining records of examination in accordance with industry standard legislation and in compliance with legal requirements.* Identify the nature of specific problems and conduct on-site repairs.* Reviewing commissioning deliverables issued by Contractors and Supplier.* Maintain positive customer relationships and ensuring consistently high standards of workmanship delivered.
