Ian is a seasoned IT professional with impressive and varied experience. Working in progressively more senior roles at CGI, and most recently as Director (since 2007), he has lead groups of various sizes on multiple concurrent client engagements, manages numerous client relationships, and has overseen 10+ million in gross revenue annually. He is known for exceptional client service and a strong team work ethic.He has provided delivery oversight in numerous industry verticals in the logistics, banking, commercial and public sector realms. He has lead project initiatives from proposal through implementation and ongoing maintenance / support. He has overall responsibility for all engagement, delivery, and client relationship oversight on his accounts, as well as financial accountability on all his engagements. He has provided account and delivery management on large accounts supporting real-time mission critical 24x7 systems. He has previously provide engagement oversight and application portfolio management for a high volume payment system (in 2011, 15M payment transactions representing approximately 7B in funds transferred) hosted and managed by CGI. This web facing 7x24 system is used by the online banking clients of all major banks in Canada. He has previously lead various project initiatives relating to outsourcing engagements, major RFP responses, he led a consulting initiative in Europe around service level management. He has also worked in engagements managing several collaborative application development initiatives for a big-five bank with mandates and timelines driven by regulatory changes, delivered on time and within budget.

Ian Directed all IT for a dynamic and rapidly expanding technology consulting and hosting company (10 direct reports, 300 end-users, with numerous external support & Help Desk clients). Successful management in a challenging dynamic environment with frequently changing priorities from executive team.He managed IT integration of all COGNICASE Toronto acquisitions into single integrated IT division, relocation and consolidation of all IT Infrastructure, including client hosted services.He managed complete reorganization of Help Desk and Support Services and brought about 100% turnaround in customer and staff satisfaction levels. Under-performing group when Ian started was recognized at the end of the transition as being one of the best managed within the organization. He had responsibility for significant renewal of entire corporate IT infrastructure (network, application and file servers, routers, switches, desktop hardware and software) and management thereof.

Worked in progressively more senior technical support roles culminating in premium escalations support to Lotus Notes administrators & developers across North America in English and French. Support included assistance with Notes application development, deployment, migration and all aspects of server administration such as security, replication, mail-routing and performance tuning.
