Hello, I'm Ian Harrison! I have recently graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity. This journey has been incredibly fun and enriching, fueling my passion for the safeguarding digital assets and systems. During my time at USF, I not only deepened my knowledge in cybersecurity but also earned the CompTIA Security+ certification. While at USF, I also competed in CTF challenges and events with the Whitehatters Computer Security Club (WCSC), sharpening my skills with core cybersecurity concepts.In the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to work as a Security Analyst Intern at ReliaQuest. There, I gained hands-on experience in cybersecurity incident response, using various SIEM and EDR tools, such as Splunk and CrowdStrike, to monitor, detect, and respond to threats. I also contributed to the development and improvement of security policies, procedures, and best practices, working alongside a team of experts and mentors. I am looking for a full-time position as a SOC analyst or a Cyber Security Analyst, where I can leverage my skills and knowledge to help organizations achieve their security goals and objectives.
