Joined Wolverhampton City Council 20 years ago and have spent all that time in the Leisure Dept . I have been responsible for 2 main areas of work , public involvement in the development of Parks and overseeing the actual development. My job title has changed a number of times due to the inevitable restructures , I have managed entire areas of the City including grounds maintenance and undertaken consultation on major schemes .I have worked closely wiith a wide range of organisations ,community groups ,and elected members etc I recently project managed the refurbishment of a large Park in W'ton with a very diverse community , this £1.8m project has been a major success and was recently used by Natural England to launch their Natural Health Service in the West Mids. The number of visits to the Park has increased from 16,000 per an to over 311,000 and the Park has a very strong Walking for Health group who also use a range of outdoor fitness equipment we installed around the perimeter paths.Specialties: Communication , flexible , innovative , think outside the box , enquiring mind , logical , prepared to make and stand by decisions , consultation ,
