Web Manager and Developer for MachineSales.com, an online listing service for listing heavy machinery for sale. Work done involved taking an existing site and fixing errors, along with adding new features. Updated payment gateway system to use Authorize.net. Set up automated process to read customer inventory RSS feeds and update site listings based on the customers feed. Also tasked with updating and maintaining a sister sites, YourInstrument.com and YourInstrument.com.au, which shared much of its code base with MachineSales.com. Maintained servers for both the US and AU sites.All work was done in Visual Studio 2010/2012, C# and MS SQL 2012

Lead Developer for the Michael J Fox Trial Finder website. Tasks involved taking the existing code base for the website and updating it with new features, as well as fixing existing code issues. Also tasked with coordinating the periodic deployment of site updates. Work was also done on a windows console application that is scheduled to run at specific intervals to send email reminders to website volunteers. Also handled taking a new web page design from a PSD and applying it to the home page.All work was done in C# and MS SQL 2008.

Took an existing website and converted it to use OrchardCMS. Work was done in C#, VS 2010, and MS SQL 2008 R2

Tasked with making updates to the existing company website smcorp.com. This included adding new features as well as making fixes to existing features. This was done in vbscript/asp.Lead developer in creating a new website to for the media department to handle media duplication requests. Website was done in C# with MS SQL 2000.Lead developer in managing the code base for the primary internal customer sales portal. This involved taking the code base from the 3rd party vendor (customer 1) and applying fixes to broken features, as well as adding new feature sets. This also involved traveling to the call center in AZ to deploy the software update and troubleshoot any issues. After deployment, maintained the project by fixing bugs and adding/changing features as needed. Project was was started in VB.net and VS2003 andlater upgraded to VS2005 and then VS2008.Also involved in research tasks to find 3rd party solutions as needed for various tasks.Set up and deployed a company intranet sharepoint site.Further tasks included updating existing sql reporting services reports, as well as generating new reports. Work was done using Visual studio 2003 - 2008, MS SQL 2000, MS Visual Source Safe

Brought in to help finish an existing project that was running over time and budget. Had to take a partially completed website and finish off functionality on partially completed pages, as well as taking static mockups and converting them to new aspx pages.Work was done in C#, VS 2003 and SQL Express

Designed, implemented and maintained a web interface to input genomic sequences and search existing sequences in a gene sequence database for the Sea Urchin Genome Project. Also designed and maintained the Nasa Dragons website which allowed users to view and upload images as well as post comments on existing images. All web coding was done in Python using python server pages with a PostgresSQL database. Also tasked with the setup and maintenance of a Beowulf cluster running Redhat and Debian.
