Head of Products for software solutions at QS Quacquarelli Symonds, the leading global provider specialising in the Higher Education sector. Business lead for Software as a Service products used by international universities to support best practice in student recruitment, which are achieving both commercial success and consistently high levels of customer satisfaction. Role spans from business planning, budgeting, identifying product requirements and writing specifications, through to pre-sales support and customer success teams. Direct responsibility for managing relationships with key accounts, encompassing renewals, consulting on new projects, project management, training and support. Managed the implementation and rollout of NetSuite across the company, to support the complete sales cycle and provide valuable insight into the performance of the business. Established software division at QS, managing the acquisition of a German software company and then running the UK operations for two years, growing the business to over 400 clients and multi-million pound revenue, through providing universities with cloud-based solutions to support student recruitment and internationalization activities. Seconded for two years to Professional Services business unit to establish new products that support university career services departments of leading international business schools to help students and alumni to progress their careers.

Responsible for generating new business through building and and managing key commercial partnerships. Sirenic's "relevance engine" determines the content that will be of most interest and value to each user, based on their profile, past behavior and current context. This enables innovative mobile solutions that deliver the information that matters when it matters, from all kinds of applications, including mobile CRM and mobile portals.Created B2C and B2B services with partner organisations that combined personal data, such as email and PIM, with enterprise applications and news feeds from business, financial and sports content providers.

A founder member of the company, building strategic routes to market for the platform, which is used to create mobile portals and other mobile data services. Established revenue streams across key market segments including media, communications and retail.

Received bursary from IBM for final year at university and subsequently had a successful career at the company, including a leading role in business development of IBM e-business solutions, and channel, customer success and product management positions in the IBM RS/6000 Business Unit.
