As Development Director of MEPC Leeds, re-engineered the management structure at Wellington Place, a major office development scheme in the centre of Leeds.Engaged at board level to lead a high performing cross functional team of development, project and asset management professionals in relation to the development of Wellington Place - a 22 acre mixed-use site in Leeds City Centre. This site has planning consent for approximately 2,750,000ft2 including office buildings, a hotel and public realm works.Operated at a strategic level to bring the project to fruition, meeting with public sector agencies, obtaining planning consent and managing the entire process from concept through to the construction phases and the opening of the marketing suite. Utilised regulatory and industry knowledge to ensure the scheme was financially viable and closely aligned to the planning consent.

As Regional Director of BAM Properties, I played a fundamental role in establishing the company as a leading commercial developer in Leeds and the North of England. Completed projects included a shopping centre in Stockton on Tees and three acclaimed office buildings in Leeds.Worked collaboratively across all levels of the business, from board level down, to deliver a range of major property projects.Employed a motivational leadership style to manage a high performing project team; selected and developed in-house and freelance professionals to meet corporate and individual project needs.Utilised commercial acumen to identity new revenue streams, leading site acquisition negotiations and developing projects from planning through to eventual sale.
