I am currently a Project Manager for TEG Projects. This work is primarily developing capital expenditure submissions from initial development through to implementation of the project. This includes tender submissions and developing timelines and deliverables. I am also working on projects involving the demolition of disused buildings on old industrial sites to allow future development. Some of the buildings have heritage aspects.

While working with Cortek I helped design and commission a number of different projects within the dairy industry in Canterbury. Projects ranged in size from very small process upgrades to large new facilities. I was also seconded as a Project Co-ordinator where I helped organise multiple different contractors across a site going through a major upgrade.

With GEA I worked in the liquid process team, primarily designing and commissioning milk standardisation system and CIP systems. This work involved P&ID drawings, heat and mass balances, pipeline design, ordering and specification of equipment, functional description review and simulation, Hazops and other general reports and work.

Nufarm are a major producer of insecticides, herbicides and fungicides with a strong presence throughout the Pacific, Europe and South America. I worked within the New Zealand production site and main office.Implementing MEX (A computerised maintenance management system) that tracks and schedules maintenance performed on every piece of equipment within the plant. There is a particular focus on safety equipment within the plantCreating a functional description of the herbicide manufacturing process and suggesting ways to improve the current process for a redesign of the PLC logicTesting and commissioning a new piece of equipment designed to heat materials to 60-70 degrees. This project looked at the efficiency, running costs, ease of operator use and safety of the machine,Design and testing of safety barrier to prevent blunt force trauma from falling bulk bagsHelping with design and installation of high level alerting equipment within the waste water treatment plant.
