During my service year through AmeriCorps VISTA at KidSight Missouri, I wrote and submitted over $77,000 in grant applications, wrote 6 direct mail appeal letters, launched KidSight's Monthly Giving program, jumpstarted new partnerships, supported the Executive Director with development administrative tasks, and helped build capacity for KidSight's.

I served as one of the 7 voting members and Chair of the Finance Committee and Fundraising Committee on the Board of Directors of the Collegian Media Group, a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit which runs the 3 major student publications on K-State's campus - The Collegian, Manhappenin Magazine, and the Royal Purple Yearbook.
