In Sub-Saharan Africa, millions of girls face barriers to education due to harmful practices like child marriage and FGM. Individuals with disabilities encounter stigma, limited resources, and the digital divide, which restricts access to education and social opportunities.Tai uses Social Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) strategies to engage communities in addressing these issues. Collaborating with schools and local leaders, the organization promotes community ownership of solutions. Digital tools are also developed for educators and parents to foster ongoing discussions on social challenges at home.Tai's mission is to empower young people through Human-Centered Design (HCD) and SBCC, creating solutions that drive social transformation. Through storytelling and digital technology, Tai crafts narratives that inspire positive behavior change and challenge harmful social norms.Tai has reached over 67,000 students in over 100 schools across Tanzania and Kenya, while its educational content has impacted 17 million people through traditional and digital platforms.
