I am currently a Junior Process Engineer at Alluxa Inc. After graduating from UC Davis with a degree in Applied Physics, I joined Alluxa as a Metrology Technician before being promoted to Associate Engineer, joining the Process team shortly after. At this point in my life, I am looking for an opportunity for a change in location and a change in my role.I was hired by Alluxa as a Metrology Technician, and I spent 11 months in that position before being promoted to Associate Engineer. I then joined the Process team a year later. During my time at Alluxa, I learned about every step of the thin film coating manufacturing process, occupying various roles in different departments as both a technician and engineer. Before joining Alluxa, I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Applied Physics with a concentration in Materials Science. During my time at UC Davis, I was a volunteer physics tutor for quantum mechanics and thermodynamics classes. I was able to assist students with their homework, and explain the concepts being covered in those classes. Before enrolling at UC Davis, I had a job for four years working in an auditorium, where I taught myself how to program the lighting system, use the soundboard, and operate other audio equipment. In both my professional and academic life I have demonstrated my ability to quickly learn to understand complicated concepts, operate new equipment, positively collaborate with co-workers and colleagues, and organize group work.I am now looking for an opportunity to move out of California and take on a new role. I have developed plenty of skills at my current company, and proved myself very capable of learning to complete new tasks, operate new equipment, and understand complicated processes. I have also shown my ability to work as part of a team, teach others, and organize the work that me and my co-workers are responsible for.
Listed skills include Community Outreach, Leadership, Teaching, Laboratory Equipment, and 3 others.
