I have 18 years of experience in Product Design and Product Development Management of programs for large corporations and emerging technology companies in consumer, medical, defense and industrial markets. Programs include new product development, and product design refresh with cost reduction of mature products.Design experiences include: mechanical product innovation to compliment customer driven scientific development, design for manufacturability and assembly in MCAD software for high/medium/low volume applications, design validation and refinement with CAE software, and manufacturing specification (material/finish/GD&T/workmanship standards) to meet technical and aesthetic requirements.Project management experiences include: MCAD product data management and revision control, supplier and manufacturer coordination for tooling and production in North America and Asia, quality control assessment for manufacturing optimization and approval, and pilot production launch support and guidance.I have been issued United States and International design and utility patents for my collaboration in new designs and inventions with our customers.Our design team collaborates with clients from concept through commercialization to develop inspiring design solutions. Our results satisfy the functional and manufacturable requirements of Engineering, as well as the product positioning and brand strategy of Marketing.
