I come from a town in Northern Ireland called Bangor but moved to Glasgow when i was 18 to go to University and have never looked back (apart from friends and family)Having studied at University and gaining a BSc in Building Surveying on top of my Construction and Engineering City & Guilds (Including AutoCAD 4351), i went to night school and the Open University in order to gain my NEBOSH General and Construction qualifications. I started in recruitment in 1998 as this combined my knowledge of the engineering and construction industry in terms of technical knowledge and process with my other great passion which is meeting, speaking and helping others.After 17 very successful years with Rullion Engineering controlling and managing large contracts in various engineering sectors as well as niche divisions for very specialist contract requirements, i joined Manpower Engineering and now oversee the telecoms vertical and contract division for specialist engineers in the UK.Every day tens of thousands of people go to work because of Manpower; and thousands of companies thrive because of the people we find them.Throughout our 60 year history in the UK alone, we've led the way in the world of work.
