I am part of the advisory committee for Pulitzer Centre's Rainforest Journalism Fund in Southeast Asia. The programme supports journalists – through funding and training – in reporting on the urgent issues facing the world's tropical rainforests.

R.AGE is a Peabody Award-nominated impact and investigative journalism team. The team specialises in video-driven multimedia content and impact campaigns that work in tandem to create positive change on social justice issues.The team has investigated issues including child sexual crimes, human trafficking, indigenous rights, refugee rights, school violence, and gender equality; frequently creating high-level impact through advocacy campaigns in collaboration with civil society.Since 2016, R.AGE has won 40 major awards in journalism, social activism, filmmaking, marketing and digital innovation. It has also been nominated twice for the Peabody Awards.

I coordinate a collective of journalists from over a dozen countries collaborating on cross-border environmental crime investigations. We strongly believe that collaborative journalism – the free exchange of information, resources, leads, etc. – is the only way to effectively investigate and hold accountable those involved in the large-scale environmental destruction across the world.The ERC's work is made available for free, and has been republished by over 20 news outlets around the world.

I consult UNICEF Malaysia on kindness and empathy-based education programmes in schools, which I believe are crucial in building a better future. I have overseen the development and execution of several capacity-building and advocacy initiatives, including the inaugural Kindness Leaders Conference: Southeast Asia.My goal in this role is to have empathy skills education incorporated into the education syllabus, and to help schools replace all forms of corporal punishment with positive discipline practices. One of our biggest efforts towards these goals is to promote the concept of "Kindness Leadership", where kindness is not seen as weakness, but rather a strength that will lead to positive development in society over time.

Managed the award-winning R.AGE team, which at the time was the youth section in The Star. Handled all aspects of R.AGE's print and digital editorial output, from writing to copy clearing and publishing.
