Current Senior at the University of Wyoming studying entrepreneurship, with an interest in social entrepreneurship. Raised in an entrepreneurial environment of familial restauranteurs, a dedication to the customer experience and their satisfaction with food and excellent service has bridged into my studies, work, and overall life. Previously held positions/experience:+ La Luna Family Mexican Restaurant (10 years+): From a young age, I've learned to work with a mentality focused on unreasonable hospitality for patrons of the Riverton and Wyoming at large, serving food, interacting with customers, and introducing a part of my proudly held cultural roots. Restaurant operations, managing staff, and customer service, and basic closeout procedures, and POS systems are anything but foreign to me. + Residence Assistant in UW Dormitories and Apartments (2 years): managing events, informing residents through email, and bolstering a welcoming and incredible environment.+ Associated Students of the University of Wyoming (2 years): Student Senator, attending committee meetings, drafting legislation, and voting on such legislation on behalf of the student body. Ran for the VP position in the closest ASUW Presidential election in the organization's history, a loss between 2%-6% of votes.+ St. Paul's Newman Center: Held leadership positions to organize church retreats, community events, and service trips as small as visiting retirement homes to traveling to Oklahoma to build houses alongside the region's Habitat for Humanity. + Sigma Nu Brother of the Epsilon Delta Chapter, previous recorder, and current associate.
