Project – Global PayrollClient – Goldman SachsGlobal Payroll (GP9.0) is a PeopleSoft Payroll system. Goldman Sachs uses GP to run Payroll for all its companies across the Globe. GP has been customized by using several Java applications.The Global Payroll Java applications are Interfaces used mainly to perform Data ETL (Extract, Transform and Load), Data Reconciliation, and sending outbound / receiving inbound feeds from various internal teams / external vendors. Java applications are also used to bring in the data from HR system (HCM7.5) to GP9.0 & to bridge back the data from GP9.0 to legacy system (CAPS3.0).Responsibilities:• Developed, Enhanced and Supported several applications on Core Java/J2EE.• Managed tasks of team members. Ensured that the team always worked on highest priority work.• Developed Java programs using Core Java to generate or consume feeds from different systems.• Used Hibernate ORM for Data persistence.• Developed scripts, DML, SP and other SQL queries on Oracle & Sybase at the backend.• Involved in release and configuration management for different applications built on Java/J2EE.• Prepared projects for migration. The project automates the whole process from the moment a claim is entered till it approved/denied in between keeping in account all the regulatory/business/legal rules. Medicaid is a health insurance program financed and running jointly by the federal and states governments for low-income people of all ages who do not have money or insurance to pay for health care.The goal of the program is to provide medical and other health care services to eligible individuals, so that they are able to remain self-sufficient as possible. Medicaid is a state administered program.
