Fixed-Term Contract until 31st January 2025Duties:- Provide administrative assistance & research briefings for the Director of Policy, Public Affairs & Campaigns (PPC). This includes taking meeting notes, booking travel, and scheduling/organising meetings and events.- Co-organise COP29 logistics for Christian Aid’s Delegation.- Provide language & research support to the Peace & Conflict Prevention team for our work on the Honduras UN UPR process. - Assist other members of the PPC Departments’s Senior Management Team as required.

My main duties are to complete ad hoc research reports on local issues for the constituency of Newark, fact-check policy related data for leaflets and other communications material, and provide general assistance during campaigning sessions, supporting the Labour Party Parliamentary Candidate Saj Ahmad for the 2024 UK General Election.

Responsibilities:-To research and propose policy for the National Union of Students (NUS).-Speaking to fellow students, listening to their concerns surrounding life at University, and taking feedback with me to the NUS Conference.-To attend the NUS Conference, vote, debate and collaborate with others on policies proposed by either myself or other delegates on behalf of students who voted me as their delegate.

After 3 years of Bournemouth University not having had a Labour Society, I set one up. Responsibilities:- Responsible for organising society socials- Helping the Bournemouth Labour Party at refreshers fair- To chair society meetings- Getting other students involved- Reaching out to other societies in the university to get involved with campaigns, marches & fundraising events which raised money and awareness for organisations such as CAMFED & The Fawcett Society

Helping Hands is a local charity in Bournemouth which helps to cloth & feed rough sleepers in the area. Main Roles:- To assist with the distribution of items such as food & clothes- To assist with the procurement of hot water from nearby cafes and restaurants which we used for hot drinks & food during the winter period
