• Responsible for sourcing and purchasing equipment, goods and services for Scaffolding Manufacturing and Maintenance Workshops in El-Maks, El-Katamia and El-Alamin.• Responsible for sourcing and purchasing needs of scaffolding and formwork for all Construction Projects in a whole PETROJET Branches inside Egypt and abroad.• Forecast levels of demand for raw material of steel sections, pipes, paints, accessories and tools according to projects needs and budgets of manufacturing and maintenance.• Run tenders, evaluate bids and make recommendations, based on commercial and technical factors. • Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of service provided and keep contract files and use them as reference for the future.• Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers, liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, internal teams such as Stores and Material Management, Workshops Management, Projects and branches Managements.• Develop strategies to make sure that cost savings and supplier performance targets are met or exceeded, undertake value for money reviews of existing contracts and arrangements.

Supervise required meetings with concerned requesters and involved parties to confirm request complete definition: scope, specifications, urgency, and all details required.• Select the category that will be included in the tender, review the tender documents to be sent to sub-contractors and suppliers and prepare comparisons of sub-contractors and suppliers proposals technically and analysis of prices finding the right products for project.• Direct local purchasing for the urgent daily needs. including: execute needed preparation of acquisition proposals, perform Purchase Request Analysis, negotiate with suppliers, review and check the evaluation of received proposals in regard to technical acceptance, quality, delivery conditions, and payment terms, update data on SAP system, issue PO for approval. Follow-up the purchase process after the PO is approved and the required actions to guarantee the conditions and the timetable established.• Handle any problem related to suppliers, even with other departments, such as supplier payment, rejected supply, …. Etc.• Manage at the local level the relationships with the suppliers, ensuring efficiency, monitoring the purchasing conditions and evaluating the performances of the suppliers (e.g.: Vendor Rating process).• Guarantee the right delivery of materials/services to the project, always keeping under track the stock level, in order to assure the regular execution of working activities, cooperating with all the functions involved• Collect and issue to the project management the data needed for the periodical reporting.
