Sonoco Bursa plant is the second biggest plant in Europe and has the most variety kind of products, textile and film cores. After I started to work in Bursa plant in six month we succeed to increase OEE 25%, reduce set up duration 50%, increase efficiency around 50 %. In Sonoco I worked with different locations and multicultural environments some of them Tavernerio in Italy, Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, Gaziantep and Bursa in Turkey. In addition to this benchmarks with other plants in Europe. My key responsibilities are;• Increase OEE • Manage lean production and SPS • Responsible for all functions within the plant including but not limited to production, quality, process engineering, maintenance, safety, environmental, administration and finance controlling.• Optimise and improve operator, line, site and enterprise efficiencies • Increase quality and consistency in processes and products • Reduce costs by preventing recalls, rework and waste• Allocate resources effectively and fully utilise assets to produce optimal results• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions• Monitor supplier quality having full traceability of all raw materials• Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff• Ensure compliance and always be audit ready for regulators and customers• Enhance customer satisfaction and brand reputation• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through the whole business

Middle east complately was a new project, I joined this project during installation of lines. I was responsible installation of lines, start up production and training all staff include packagers till plant manager.

SPS ( Sonoco Performance Systems ) applications, capability increase and process improvement

I’m working as plant manager at Sonoco Gaziantep factory. Sonoco is one of the biggest company in the wold for paper industry. We are producing core pipes for textile and packaging industries at Gaziantep plant. I responsible production, quality, production planning, purchasing and logistic. In addition to this if it is needed I manage relationship with our regional customers. My first achievment for this factory was increasing productivity from 55% to 75%. And we are trying to ameliorate all others. In 2016 we complated the our biggest project that was relocation the plant.
