Ibrahim is an academic at The University of Warwick, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) UK, a Fellow Chartered Accountant with ICAN-Nigeria and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt trained at the University of Strathclyde, where I also earned his PhD in Supply Chain Management.I possess extensive experience in teaching, research, and strategic collaboration at the higher education level, having had the privilege to educate and mentor students in the United Kingdom and Nigeria. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to take on senior university leadership roles, including Head of Department for the Procurement and Supply Chain Department and Assistant Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences at Kaduna State University, Nigeria. These positions have allowed me to contribute significantly to the growth and development of academic programmes and to nurturing future professionals. Furthermore, I am deeply committed to mentorship and giving back to students. I am currently supervising ten master's and four PhD students. I serve as a student advisor to thirty students and a mentor to black university students in the OFS/UK-funded ASPIRE project, where I aim to inspire and support the next generation of aspiring professionals and researchers. I actively engaged in research in the field of Supply Chain Management, focusing on supply chain risk and resilience, digital transformation in supply chains, local sourcing strategies and procurement and supply chain management reskilling; adopting mixed-methods approaches.
