- As only expat in function area, building organization from scratch, within two years, to include 4 line managers, 21 Engineers and 54 technicians.- Training 3 production-line installation teams and Installation of 37 packing lines worth approx. $50 million- Maintaining all production equipment, training and building a Maintenance organization, reaching an average down time below 2%. Including spare part planning and usage, Preventive maintenance planning and execution, and TPM roll out (including 5S and Proactive safety implementation). - New product introduction and Industrial engineering - making sure new products can run on production lines, according to aligned global standards. Portfolio consist of approx. 300 finish goods products and 2000 product bags.- Technical Support of Procurement local sourcing of foils, boxes and other packaging materials. - Upgrading production equipment in order to capture continues improvements opportunities within safety, quality, delivery or cost areas.- Lead, coach and support Chinese line managers in the LEGO way of leading – building a lasting foundation.- Working in a fast-paced multi-cultural factory environment where key stakeholders among others include colleagues from The Czech Republic, Mexico, Denmark, Singapore, Hungary and China.
