About Ida Korsström

Textile designer specializing in woven fabrics, colours and print design. Especially enthusiastic about colour and materials, traditional crafts and developing new design methods and concepts. As a designer I am continuously looking for new techniques, materials and directions. I enjoy a challenge and I am currently working as a Textile Designer in the Home Design team at Marimekko Helsinki HQ.Graduated in the spring of 2021 as Master of Arts (MA) from Aalto University School of Arts Design and Architecture.Some of my recent projects can be seen at https://www.instagram.com/idakorsstrom/My MA Thesis Work was selected for Protoshop 2021 exhibition and could be seen at Habitare Furniture Fair in Helsinki 2021
