Som handledare omfattade mina arbetsuppgifter en varierad uppsättning aktiviteter, men de huvudsakliga ansvarsområdena inkluderade att hjälpa personer med asylstatus eller tillfälligt skydd i Finland att integreras i samhället och att erbjuda stöd vid kontakter med olika myndigheter. Problemlösning, kommunikation och att jobba i team utgjorde en betydande del av arbetet.

Additionally, I oversaw all the student events organized for our master's students and managed the dissemination of information to high school students regarding our organization. In my capacity as the Head of Educational Advocacy, I also served as the President of the Educational Advocacy Committee.Merkantila Klubben rf. is a student association operating at Handelshögskolan vid Åbo Akademi. Our primary goal is to promote our members interests in matters that affect their studies. We also want to ensure that our members voices are heard on different administration levels at our university. We have around 850 members, all of them studying business and economics, and by that, we are the biggest student association at the university. Jag har jobbat som simlärare på olika orter i Österbotten och i Åboland vid sidan av mina studier. På vintrarna jobbar jag vid olika simbassänger och simhallar där har jag haft grupper med främst barn i olika åldersklasser. Jag har även haft några privata vuxna simelever som har velat förbättra sin simteknik inför triathlons. På somrarna sker mitt jobb på stranden vilket vissa somrar är helt underbart, men andra år kan vara utmanande på grund av det nordiska klimatet. During the winter season of 2017-2018, I worked as a waitress at Hotel Hertzblut in Saalbach, Austria. The hotel opened for the first time as an STG Hotel in December 2017, and as a member of the Scandinavian service team at the hotel, I got to help with the hotel startup. It was an excellent opportunity to take part in the work done before a hotel opens up for guests and get an insight into what needs to be done.
