I am qualified as a microbiologist, an environmental scientist and a plant pathologist. I support in-field and on-farm plant health diagnostics and use scientific knowledge to give my clients (often farmers) the cutting edge to keep plants healthy. I'm committed to environmentally friendly solutions, such as regenerative agriculture, to support a sustainable future plant production industry globally. I am passionate about bridging the gap between science and practice and ensuring that the latest knowledge and technologies reach the farmers and agri companies who need them. I have authored over 200 written works, delivered >120 presentations, and given 60+ radio interviews on plant health, disease management, and crop protection topics. I am also an extraordinary lecturer at Stellenbosch University, where I share my insights and mentor the next generation of agronomists and plant scientists. My goal is to empower the agricultural sector with the best tools and practices to grow healthy crops and promote food security.Lastly, I support a high-performing team, the SCOBY collective in driving positive action in the world to ensure a beautiful future for the planet.
