Reports to the Transportation & Installation (T&I) department.Lead MMHE’s maiden line pipe procurement and coating applicationReview project specifications and requirements related to materials, welding & coating.Prepare technical clarifications (TC) and technical queries (TQ).Prepare technical requisition package (TRP), requisition for quotation (RFQ) (for line pipe, anti-corrosion coatings, etc.)Review technical proposals for procurement of High Strength Low Allow (HSLA) Carbon Steel (CS) line pipes & line pipe anti corrosion coating application package, review Manufacturing Procedure Specifications (MPS) and Inspection & Testing Plans (ITP).Liaise with pipeline engineering design team for compilation of TRP/RFQ package.Source inspection of carbon steel line pipes.Review Offshore Installation Contractor (OIC) technical proposals, documentations, procedures on matters related to Quality Control, Welding and Coating. Review project particular specification requirements for carbon dioxide rich pipeline (for carbon capture and storage application)Advise Project Management Team (PMT) quantity of test coupons required for welding procedure qualification and welder qualification and procedure qualification testing (PQT) for anti-corrosion coatings.Advise PMT on welding, materials, offshore pipeline production and coating related matters.Support and advise on the requirement of technical packages for onshore structure fabrication (metal fabrication specification requirements, steel plates, welded tubular, seamless tubulars).Coordinate technical clarification meetings, kick off meetings, pre-production meetings with subcontractors and vendors.Assigned to lead offshore installation subcontractor for matters related to welding and coating for offshore installation campaigns.Prepare and review ITP.Prepare and review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).Prepare WPQT cutting plans and matrix for mechanical testing.

• Review project specification requirements and prepare project related procedures• Coordinate Welding Procedure Qualification testing (WPQT) campaigns and Welder Qualification Testing (WQT) campaigns• Coordinate mechanical/material testing activities and corrosion tests (HICC, SSCC, etc.) as per project specified standards (e.g., DNV, API, AWS, EEMUA, ASME and ISO)• Welding process experience: SMAW, Orbital M-GMAW, GS-FCAW, SS-FCAW, Surface Tension Transfer (STT) Orbital M-GMAW and GTAW.• Materials experience: Corrosion Resistance Alloys (CRA) (Inconel 825/625, Monel, Stainless Steel) and Carbon Steel• Plan welding production and fabrication related manpower (welding team, Quality Control (QC) team, related subcontractors, etc.) for onshore and offshore scope of works (WPQT & WQT campaigns, onshore pre-fabrication and offshore pipeline, tie-in spools & structure welding).• Lead pre-mobilization & equipment rig-up for offshore campaigns, coordinate subcontractors for Automatic Welding System (AWS), Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) & Field Joint Coating (FJC).• Supervise offshore welding operations, highlight issues, potential showstoppers, troubleshooting, discussion on room for improvements and ensuring optimal project delivery.• Assists QC Supervisor for offshore and onshore campaigns.• Source inspection of vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.• Produce production record spreadsheets, production recap, organize photos and video for reference, lesson learn & risk management of future projects.• Perform analysis of line-pipe metrology data.• Utilize Adobe Illustrator to produce welding vector graphics & illustrations (for presentation, welding & project procedures, bidding documentations, etc.).• Prepare presentation for kick off meetings, pre-production meetings and post project meetings.Produce flowcharts for ITP and project procedures (with Microsoft Visio).• Provide advice to other departments for technical and production welding related matters.

• For the 3rd on job training rotation, I was assigned as Field Engineer for Operations Engineering Department• Assigned offshore onboard Sapura 900 barge for subsea pipeline spool installation and pre-commissioning campaign for CPOC Phase 3 EPCIC Project• Liaise with various team such as Remote Operating Vehicle (ROV) team, Diving team, Welding team and Hydrostatic Testing Sub-Contractor for the metrology, fabrication, hydra-tightening, hydrostatic testing and installation of spool and pipeline hydrostatic testing pre-commissioning activities.

• For the 2nd on job training rotation, assigned as Junior Engineer for the Transportation & Installation Engineering Department• Exposure on Structural and Naval Architecture for offshore installation engineering.• Exposure on SACS Modelling, Moses and GRLWEAP.• Familiarize on structural standards, shackle selection, sling selection and design of pad-eye and trunnion.• Exposure on engineering analysis such as lifting analysis for topsides, jacket and boat landing

• For 1st on job training rotation, Assigned as Project Engineer for CPOC Phase 3 EPCIC Integrated Project Management Team• Assigned to Sapura Fabrication Yard (Lumut) for Topside & Jacket Fabrication and assists with load-out activities• Liaised with various teams and departments to gather production progress information and highlights any issues arise to direct superior• Coordinate weekly client meeting minutes of meeting• Assigned to SKHL Fabrication Yard, Lumut• Monitor procurement issues on Subcontractor services• Oversee and report to superior on the construction of TAPI-A and MELATI-A JacketAssists with Transportation & Installation (T&I) scope related inspections (eg. Sling inspection, pile slot drift test, trial fit of transition joint, piles, conductors and boat landing.)• Coordinate offshore structure loadout and sea-fastening
