I am a dedicated and passionate social worker, mental health practitioner, and counselor with a Bachelor of Social Work from the National Institute of Social Development and a Diploma in Counseling Psychology from IHRA - University of Colombo. With over 4 years of academic training and hands-on experience, I specialize in mental health support, project coordination, counseling, case management, and communication.Throughout my academic journey, I led my own research projects and supported data collection for several studies. These experiences strengthened my skills in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and provided practical insight into social work issues. I have a strong background in child development, working with individuals with special needs, and community development, and I’m passionate about advocating for vulnerable populations.My work is driven by a commitment to creating meaningful, positive change in the lives of those I serve. I’m always eager to collaborate and contribute to projects focused on mental health, community engagement, Peace Building, Conflict Transformation and social development.
