A programmer by trade, I have been involved in full software life-cycle starting from gathering client requirements, drafting scope of work, working on different aspects of the brief as a full-stack dev, testing, providing support after deployments and serving as a project lead. After having worked in many roles and with global teams, it became quickly clear that my interests lay in data - particularly how we can utilise the data collated by different apps to drive business decisions, reduce errors and ultimately improve efficiency.Over time, with a background in data analytics, my priority changed to process automation. My focus shifted to how we can streamline mundane processes by creating smart automated solutions based on data insights that saves time, money and releases more man hours that can be put into decision making tasks that require human input. I was able to showcase my skills in this when I deployed the first South Tees BOT within 6 months of joining the team. In addition to that, when I served as the Test Lead on a South Tees – Blue Prism collaboration Project.I am very passionate about service improvement, striving at all times to promote knowledge sharing in simple to understand ways. I am committed to supporting individuals when it comes to driving change, helping them to understand the journey ahead so that they can embrace the future. Though daunting, this is probably the biggest goal that I strive for in my career.
