Student Voice Administrator
CurrentI facilitate the student representation system of over 70 Part Time Officers and 6 Sabbatical Officers, from recruitment during Elections to training, monitoring and performance reviewing. I also support and take lead to deliver a range of Liberation and Welfare activities for the wider student body in collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Some of my contributions include:- Acting as Staff Lead to launch the first Decolonisation Campaign of the SU, running events and activities with student groups. The project has seen up to 100% satisfaction rates and was Highly Commended for Campaign of the Year during the annual Staff Awards. - Liberation Projects: I provide close admin and operational assistance for our Liberation Campaigns from planning with the organising committees, to delivery seen when managing book clubs with guest speakers, hosting student and local businesses for events and facilitating educational workshops- Welfare Projects: I collaborated with Student Experience to organise Open Iftars for over 300 students and arranged new menus with local businesses for Ramadan. I've delivered wellbeing activities and pop-up stalls for Study Well (socials, organising giveaways and creating engaging feedback collection methods)- Increasing SU Awareness: I have led Induction presentations for up to 700 students to inform and inspire engagement in the SU. I also developed an SU Wins project to collate and showcase the organisation's achievements under one recognisable marketing campaign and close the student feedback loop- I helped introduce an Eid gift giving initiative to support an inclusive and positive workplace environment
