I am a second-year honors student continuing my higher education on a four-year merit-based academic scholarship through Macaulay Honors College at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I currently plan on utilizing CUNY’s Baccalaureate program to study Legal Justice & Policy, as my work and passion is and will continue to be centered around diversity, equity, and inclusion in legal and political spaces. I have gained plentiful expertise in grassroots/non-profit organizing and planning, specifically in the role of founder and board member of the local non-profit organization, Putnam Valley 4 Racial Justice. I have experience working on police reform panels and curriculum committees in Upstate New York to create more diverse and inclusionary training and guidelines in the public sector. I am currently employed by the Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice as their NY Digital Engagement Intern, where I actively work to increase engagement within their community mobilization sector. My most previous employment was at Macaulay Honors College as their Student Inclusion Coordinator, actively working to plan, facilitate, and manage conversations and spaces for students while implementing safe, equitable practices for all involved.
