The Associate Dean will ‘close the loop’ by ensuring that curriculum development and enhancement and educational staff development programmes are in place and effective within each school.4. Ensuring that best educational practice is shared across all the constituent schools of the Faculty by leading and chairing the education ‘team’ of MHLS.5. Advising Schools on developing and refining their Teaching and Learning strategies and on the content of their annual strategic planning templates with respect to Education 6. Promoting the development of enterprising and innovative cross-school or where relevant cross-faculty interdisciplinary, interprofessional educational programmes, particularly those not already within the remit or scope of the HCIU. 7. Coordinating the Faculty’s (but not individual School’s) role(s) in Institutional Audit or in the specific subject reviews or programme validation(s) or professional review(s) undertaken within the constituent Schools of the Faculty. The Associate Dean will ensure that each School has adequately addressed the issues of fitness for award and for practice within each health profession.8. Advising the Dean on cases for academic promotion that are based on an individuals profile in the teaching and education mission of the Faculty or one of its constituent schools. Show less

I was also the external adviser to Plymouth University's Teaching Development Framework, their equivalent to ASPIRE. Both ASPIRE and TDF are mapped to the HEA UKPSF.
