Smith, CRC in planetary science, on developing ISSM (Ice Sheet System Model).- The main and accomplished objective was to update this three-dimensional glacial modeling software to work with carbon dioxide glaciers on Mars. - Ran test and simulation campaigns to analyze the behavior of the carbon dioxide glaciers on the south pole of Mars.- Updated the code so that it was capable to run simulations for multiple types of ice within a single model, as well as working for any planetary settings other than Earth and Mars.- Worked with MATLAB, C++, Python, and Unix.
