Sr Strategic Planning AnalystMercado Libre Jul 2018 - Aug 2019-New business initiatives: The Fashion Category was perceived as fake. We decided to go with a first-party strategy analyzing the most suitable brands and product mix. Planned an additional 4M USD GMV in Mexico. Same strategy was rolled out for other countries.-Unit Economics: Creation of a scalable SQL architecture, visualized in Tableau, that allowed teams to perform complex analysis of the entire ecosystem + P&L. Due to this, controlling positions were created for different BUs to focus on profitability and not just growth.-Insights Package: Gave an information package to every vertical containing a heatmap with main brands and categories from Google Ads, a document of the product mix of the main players by web scraping in R, and user behaviour and cluster analysis of our consumers. Clear view of what people are searching, what competitors are offering, and our supply gap. -
