As a Preventive Medicine Resident at the University of Rochester, I apply my skills with a focus on all levels of chronic disease prevention, nutrition (for sports and chronic diseases), physical and mental performance, wellness coaching, and fitness training to help patients improve their health and well-being. Closely related to those topics, I am also training in Lifestyle Medicine, a new and promising field in Medicine. In the same institution, I am pursuing a Master of Public Health degree. I have more than eight years of experience in the medical field - Emergency Department, Internal Medicine, Clinical and Surgical Pathology), including co-ownership of the first and largest course in Brazil for the United States Medical License Examination (USMLE) "Jornada USMLE", a platform that helps medical students prepare for the USMLE exam. I hold a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidade Federal Fluminense in Brazil, and I am fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. My mission is to empower people to prevent and manage chronic diseases through evidence-based interventions and develop their best selves.
