I am from Fushun, China, which is a historical city and the birthplace of the Qing dynasty. I was born in a typical Chinese family and was taught traditional thought by my parents: how to respect each other, how to have good behavior, how to face predicaments etc.. I was also given a very special name from my father called ‘Yi Long’. It means that whatever I do, I will never abandon it like a strong dragon. For the first time, when I was a university student, I found that I really interested in computer programming which is related to the Internet such as ethical hacking or making a cool flash animation etc., even though my major was Biotechnology. I started computer coding by myself at that time. After I graduated university, I worked for some Internet Technology (IT) companies for few years in Qingdao, China and Beijing, China. One day, I suddenly felt that I really needed to learn more about the Computer Network field. Consequently, I decided to go to Korea to do master’s course because I had heard that was a relatively developed IT environment there. During the master’s course, I also worked in two Korean companies. Looking at the way I was, time flew and I was really enjoying coding not just for work and I have got great opportunities to improve myself. I know how working overseas is difficult because there are different working environments that involve such as coding style or diverse frames etc. but I am really pleased to face this challenge. It makes my life colourful and I could experience different cultures.
