Created a line of products that are currently being sold in major department / design stores in Istanbul and London. Enjoying the birth of the line which coincided with the birth of my daughter, one of the reasons of becoming self-employed (the other reason was getting prepared to relocate-from Istanbul to London)

Reported to the VPs of Architecture & Design and Atelier Swarovski Home. Contributed to the success of Atelier Swarovski Home by designing projects that bring the current product design brief to life. Finalised the propositions within required timelines and worked in tandem with Product Development team.• Create design concepts in response to the AS Home creative brief and range plan.• Collaborate with head of manufacturing to ensure product viability assessment of concepts• Ensure product concepts form coherent ‘retail-able’ ranges that optimise commercial opportunities• Streamline and modify designs where appropriate to minimise costs• Generate 2D and 3D models, renderings, execution drawings and technical packages• Actively contribute to creative discussion relating to new products, typologies and categories• Develop and maintain a new product idea pipeline for future Atelier Swarovski Home collections

Recruited primarily as a mid weight designer for their in house design team (part time, since I was working in the furniture industry simultaneously) and promoted to senior designer after designing a luxury leather product line, a success in the market. My new challenge as a senior designer was to design and produce table top objects mainly made of glass/ crystal and metal, also a success internationally.

Urart is a luxury design brand specialising in unique hand-crafted jewellery and objects.Created a fresh, modern look for the brand that invited in young and trendy clientele, increasing total sales and profit. Designed the re-branding for their 40th anniversary, designed furniture for their flagship store to give them the opportunity of displaying different sized objects by re-arranging the modules of the furniture and change them whenever necessary. Modernised the interior of their stores with new display units and designed a totally new line of objects, enhancing the modern look of the brand. Followed up production process evaluating issues such as pricing, safety, materials and manufacturing methods.

Siesta is a world leader in manufacturing plastic furniture.Designed the Bee chair by Ilanit Ovadya, a stacking chair inspired by the nature to bring colour and variety to places with its style. Manufactured in clear or shiny polycarbonate for indoor and outdoor use. They are selling worldwide and doing excellent in the market.

Karim Rashid is a legend of design. I learned how the design business works in the real world. Out of the projects that I have worked on, a number of them are still in production.

Plug Digital is an innovative Digital Media Production Center providing unique and dramatic graphic solutions in New York. Being responsible for developing and designing creative concepts, I took projects on my own from initial design concept through completion working directly with clients. I designed brochures, company cards, unique specialty packaging, web graphics and large-scale advertising such as billboards and window signs.
