Picture this: I showed up for an interview as a digital marketing intern in a sharp black suit and was confused as someone else applying for a Management position. Needless to say, I got the job and spent my internship collaborating with the team on social media content creation, marketing management, SEO, and monthly website maintenance. I was promoted for performance to a project manager where I managed project timelines, onboarded/offboarded clients, and allocated resources. Before Marketopia, I was the brains and beauty behind Brushed Beauty. During my college days, I turned my passion into a thriving bridal makeup business, managing a team of artists and booking over 30 weddings a year. I did it all – from crafting a killer business plan and marketing strategy to setting prices and creating eye-catching marketing materials. Plus, I was hunting - making sales calls, running digital campaigns, and showing off our skills at trade shows.Honorable Mentions: I've done a stint at Northwestern Mutual a top 10 nationally ranked internship program, competed in a pitch event for my student organization in 2018 where we were awarded $5,000, and I'm all about those analytics and inbound marketing certifications. Marketing automation platforms? I speak their language fluently. Currently, I am a Marketing Manager for a technology firm called Celera Networks building their first ever internal marketing department and overseeing a marketing assistant, appointment setter, and an outsourced creative team. I'm also leveling up my skills even more with an MBA at USF.
