I manage retail applications, like1) xStore (store POS), Relate (for CRM), XBR (for Loss Prevention). I collect requirements and analyze issues and communicate with the vendor to implement new features and fix bugs. End user technical support. Deploying of new functionalities.2) eCommerce B2C website (http://www.guess.eu) : development (c#, MVC), business requirements collection, team management, communication with the american HQ.3) eCommerce B2B website (http://b2b.guess.eu): development from scratch of a web platform to allow end business users to place orders via web and mobile, connecting to the company's ERP (Stealth).4) Monitoring tools: to keep all the 240+ stores under control, I developed and mantain a monitoring tool that report any known issue as soon as it is detected, possibly automatically applying corrective measures if available. It also apply various checks to many different systems around the company (JDA, JDE, Stealth, eCommerce website, B2B Website(5) Reporting tool: I created a reporting web application that allow users to extract data from many of the companies software: xStore, Relate, Stealth, Jda, B2b, Ecommerce)6) Managing people to achieve all of the above.

I manage the store register's software (XStore), created by a supplier (Micros). I manage also other softwares from Micros (Relate, xCenter, XBR) I take care of interconnections with the other company's back-office softwares (as400). Management of the Guess eCommerce web site (frontend and backend: back office users' support, interface with the American HQ for issues and improvements, development of Europe-specific additional tools).Requisites analysys, to deploy new features. Bug analysis and problems finding. Internal advanced customer support. I developed my own monitoring tools to control with ease more that 240 stores (from the 50 initial ones) around Europe. The tool is used by the Lugano HQ to monitor potential issues with the stores, to get warnings on possible issues, to export and import data from/to the main systems. I analyze user and business processes and suggest improvements and automatism to help them to do their work with better instruments, to focus on important tasks and not on daily routine.Developing of a eCommerce web site in the company Extranet with new technologies (C#, MVC, Sql Server) connecting with the existing AS400 Backend (Stealth).Tutoring to new employees.
