Currently Executive Chairman of IGS (gas storage company part of F2i Group) and Independend styrategic advisors of industrial company and PE/infrastructure funds. Previously Independent Board Member at Enel SpA, where I also lead the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Enel is the largest Italian Company and the largest utility in the world.I’m also a Director Emeritus of McKinsey & Co. (non operative role) where I worked for 24 years as a Senior Partner, serving clients in the electric power, natural gas, renewable energy and basic material industries in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. In particular, I have advised many utilities on refocusing their strategies around renewable energy and distributed generation.In McKinsey I was also the Global Leader of McKinsey’s Government Relationships and Regulatory Management Practice, which works on policy making, business regulation and stakeholder management.In addition to my client work, I contribute to McKinsey’s in-house research and development. I helped tailor our global Greenhouse Gas abatement model to Italy and am active in shaping the CO2/environmental debate at EU level. I am also contributing to shaping the debate about the new regulation about the old and new sharing economy initiatives.
