- Creating SIEM alerts for various systems and vulnerabilities that have been discovered.- Keeping up to date with latest cybersecurity news and effect it may have on the company.- Liaising with external pentesters on security findings and working with internal teams to resolve said findings.- Investigating security alerts for useful information such as IP, Useragent, Fingerprint and so on for information that can be added to AWS WAF rules. - Working on internal phishing campaign and vetting/presenting results to upper management.- Working through Infosec ticket backlog to clear up old Jira tickets in limbo.- Investigating suspicious emails forwarded to Infosec team by other employees for malicious intent.

Full-time role focused on monitoring US & EU environments in a 24/7 shift rotation.- Monitored US and UK/Rest of World gaming environments through DataDog, including platform metrics, health checks, transactions, Infrastructure and APM.- Monitoring logs for information on security events such as Geo-location, IP, user-agent and reporting to the necessary team when an escalation is required.- Creating incidents through OpsGenie for events labelled as P1/P2 and working to resolve while in a war-room through Google Meets.- Running Jenkins/ArgoCD jobs when needed as per determined processes, such as restarting payments service, restarting platforms, Sportify and so on.- Managing downtime for platform releases and creating various monitors for new environments through DataDog.- Creating and editing run books on confluence for various alerts that the team may receive throughout the shift and liaising with devs/SRE on the correct steps to follow.- Managing Jira and Zendesk tickets which have been routed to NOC and following up on said tickets in order to close them as soon as possible.- Creating incident reports/RCA documents for major incidents and sending said documents to external stakeholders, as well as sending out necessary communications to affected parties during an incident.

Intern role focusing on cyber security and further training. - Worked on aforementioned CTF website to help future students better understand cyber security concepts and the differences between good and bad practices in code.- Read up and discussed various bug bounty write-ups from HackerOne with assigned trainer. - Attempted CTFs with other interns at the company. - Acquired basic knowledge of SQL, JavaScript and use of Apache to host the CTF site.
